After a long and frustrating battle with my transmission, I was finally able to full throttle shift for the first time. My first pass full throttle shifting I lit up 4th Gear; I thought my clutch was slipping, for when I glance down at my tach it was bouncing off the rev limiter at 8500 rpm: I ran a 11.2 @ 131 on 24psi of boost. My next pass, after what felt like an eternity, I turned up the boost and ran a 10.8 @ 138 bogging second gear, it felt like a jet on the top end:) There's definitely a lot more left in it; I was fighting traction all the way down the track. Unfortunately I can't find my slip, fortunately there were many many witnesses, Greg, Seb, Dean, Scott, Todd, Matt, Eisho, Roman and a few others. On my last pass I broke my transmission:( I feel that I will be able to run 9's, all boost, in the near future, if I can keep the tranny from breaking: it's my fourth tranny since 2006.
Greg and Dean couldn't get in a clean pass, for thoughts that are wondering. I go to the track nearly every weekend: I have never seen the track in such terrible condition.
